We have been working alongside our contractor partner, CLC Group, on a refurbishment programme at Center Parcs, improving the existing electrical systems across 120 lodges at the Sherwood Forest park.

Project Summer saw us replacing all the smoke alarms in individual lodges, adding in new USB sockets and replacing old fans and ensuring all electrical systems were updated to current regulations and meeting modern standards. This forms part of an overall eight year rolling programme, in partnership with CLC.

We were also delighted to be awarded work to deliver an infrastructure project for Center Parcs, bringing the main electrical system across the park up to current standards , work included installation of new feeder pillars, sub station alterations and reduced the need for underground joints.

This infrastructure programme has seen us install around four miles of cable, bringing the main heart of the electrical supply to the park up to standards and able to serve the site for the next thirty years.

Some of the the housing programmes we work on are not as big in scale, but each property is far more involved, due to the luxury installations included for customers.

Our work with Pearl Living on a development in the heart of Papplewick Farm estate in Hucknall, involved work to create bespoke, luxury homes for the high-end housing market.

The overall new-build installation also included work to create cable networking, enable the use of full in-built media systems and home automation.

Working on homes like this is fascinating; it’s really embracing the modern world and using our skills as electricians to create a very different home.

The systems we installed were a major selling point for these homes, as it offers a luxury and standard of living, not offered in other ends of the housing market.

We carried out the full installation of the prestigious Baytree Cars dealership in Derby, lighting up their showroom and delivering a range of further works to support the business’ operations.

Our work included the installation of new LED lighting to the showroom area and workshop, along with lift supplies and works to the office area. We thoroughly enjoyed the project, and our client was delighted with the finished product.

Over the summer of 2018, we delivered four projects for Loughborough University, refurbishing accommodation and communal areas in a variety of campus buildings.

The client asked us to support them in creating a high standard of accommodation for their students. Works included the installation of modern efficient LED lighting, new power supplies and charging areas, bringing their facilities up to modern, efficient standards.

We have thoroughly enjoyed working as the electrical contractor on the Hoar Cross Hall Spa Hotel in the heart of Staffordshire.

We have carried out a range of electrical works, upgrading the accommodation at Hoar Cross, which has included brand new LED lighting, mechanical extraction and USB charging points, which fit in perfectly with the new room upgrades.

Installing the energy efficient LED lighting has been key to ensuring the rooms are maintained to the highest standard, in such a stunning location and building, while still offering a more efficient option to our client.

We are very proud of our ability as an electrical contractor to work as efficiently and effectively as possible on all the projects we work on, and that was no different here. We paid careful attention to detail to make sure each room maintained a desirable, ‘top end’ finish, to accommodate Hoar Cross’ many guests, complimenting the hotel’s many state-of-the-art facilities.

Set in 50 acres of quintessential Staffordshire countryside, Hoar Cross Hall Spa Hotel is a Grade II listed stately home retreat, that pairs period style with modern luxury and attentive service.

Thanks to a painstaking restoration programme, all the public rooms radiate the same sense of splendour that the hall had when it was first completed in 1871, with many original features almost untouched. The hotel is constantly looking at ways to improve its rooms, facilities and services to keep the experience for visitors to the highest standard.
