Refurbishment programme to make huge change to Centre Parcs and its accommodation is well underway.
We have been working alongside our contractor partner, CLC Group, on a refurbishment programme at Center Parcs. To do this we have improved the existing electrical systems across 120 lodges at the Sherwood Forest park.
Project Summer saw us replacing all the smoke alarms in individual lodges. We added in new USB sockets and replaced old fans. On top of this we were ensuring all electrical systems were updated and modern. We made sure all equipment met current regulations and modern standards because customer safety is paramount. This forms part of an overall eight year rolling programme in partnership with CLC.
We are also delighted to be awarded work to deliver an infrastructure project at Center Parcs. We have brought the main electrical system across the park up to current standards because these were becoming dated. Work includes installation of new feeder pillars and sub station. We have made alterations and reduced the need for underground joints.
This infrastructure programme has seen us install around four miles of cable. This brings the main heart of the electrical supply to the park up to standards. The supply will now be able to serve the site for the next thirty years.
